Equipment and Premises

Ingenza is located in dedicated laboratories and offices on the outskirts of Edinburgh, in the Roslin Biocentre, famous for creation of Dolly the Sheep. Ingenza's molecular biology, fermentation, analytical chemistry and chemo-enzymatic process development laboratories are fully equipped for bioprocess research and development, including isolation, production and molecular evolution of biocatalysts, engineering of microbial strains, enzymology, fed-batch fermentation and synthetic organic chemistry. Ingenza’s Roslin facilities are capable of the manufacture of chiral compounds at kg scale.
