Dr. Ian Fotheringham – PresidentIan Fotheringham received a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology with Professor David Sherratt at the University of Glasgow in 1986. He then joined the NutraSweet division of Monsanto Corporation in Chicago IL, developing microbial strains for the manufacture of L-phenylalanine and the peptide sweetener Aspartame. From 1992, with NSC Technologies, Great Lakes Fine Chemicals and Richmond Chemical, Corp, he continued to develop industrial bioprocesses to produce chiral compounds including non-proteinogenic amino acids and carbohydrates. He co-founded Ingenza in 2002. He has published 30 papers and holds 6 current patents.Mr. Sunil Srivastava – CEOMr Srivastava co-founded Ingenza in 2002 following a 12 year history with Monsanto Corporation, Chicago IL, where he was instrumental in the establishment, growth and sale of the NSC Technologies division to Great Lakes Chemical Company for $125 million in 1996. Mr. Srivastava is also Founder, President and CEO of Richmond Chemical Corporation, based in Schaumburg, IL, as well as a founder of Ingenza with responsibility for technology and product commercialization, marketing and business development. |
