Equipment and premises
Ingenza is currently located in dedicated laboratories and offices on the
King's Buildings campus of the University of Edinburgh. Ingenza's
independent laboratories are fully equipped for biocatalysis research and
development with molecular biology, enzymology and chemistry facilities. In
addition the company has full access to state-of-the-art equipment within
the School of Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh. This equipment
includes a fermentation suite with five to fifteen litre fermenter capacity,
biomass processing and biotransformation vessels, mass spectrometry, nmr,
high-throughput screening robotics and chiral analysis (HPLC, LC/MS, GC and
CE).
Below are some examples of Ingenza's state-of-the-art facilities.
