Ingenza relocates to Roslin Biocentre

As of December 1st 2006, Ingenza has relocated to new improved facilities at the Roslin Biocentre, near Edinburgh, Scotland. The move is part of Ingenza's development and growth programme and will provide significantly enhanced bioprocess research and development facilities to enable the acceleration of Ingenza\'s proprietary bioprocess development. The new address will be Wallace Building, Roslin Biocentre, Roslin, Midlothian, EH25 9PP, UK. The new telephone number will be 0131 200 6355. All email addresses remain the same.


Ingenza wins SMART:SCOTLAND award to develop new bioprocess

DEVELOPMENT OF "AMORA" BIOPROCESS PLATFORM

Ingenza Ltd will use the SMART:SCOTLAND Award to develop "AMORA", a unique biocatalytic platform technology to prepare pure chemical compounds, specifically amines and amino acids, for the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and fine chemical industries worldwide. The AMORA bioprocess is of high industrial value and will be highly economical and more general and environmentally cleaner than conventional methods.


Ingenza to present at the Multi-step Enzyme Catalysed Processes conference

Dr. Nicole Kaftzik of Ingenza will be speaking at the MECPO conference in Graz, Austria which runs between April 18 and 21. Nicole\'s talk, entitled \'Preparative Deracemisation of Unnatural Amino Acids\', describes our recent work to develop the deracemisation process towards large scale manufacture of enantiopure amino acids.
