Our proprietary technologies are focused around the production of enantiopure chiral amines and amino acids by either deracemisation of the racemic mixtures or steroinversion of one enantiomer to its antipode, in a one-pot reaction, using an enantioselective oxidase biocatalyst in parallel with chemical reduction. The deracemisation technology offers the possibility of yields and enantiomeric excesses approaching 100%, providing highly competitive process economics over alternate methods, such as resolution approaches.
